So I spent a couple of days last month in and around Baltimore, Maryland to see my homies in Teen Suicide, and Pill Friends, and everyone else who is rad as fuck that I know there.
While I was hanging out, sacred homie Sam Ray showed me a couple songs from his new band, “Julia Brown”. I got to sing on one of the songs, and I’ve since heard the whole album about a hundred times.
It’s honestly one of the best records i’ve heard in a long time, and this could be my favorite track from it. It reaches for something pure and beautiful, and finds it by being real.
This album is going to fucking rule.

“i was in the library
i heard your name in my ear
my friends blame ghosts
when i went outside
the sky was turning black.
i saw you in the library
even though you’re two states away
my friends blame ghosts
when i went outside
it was just beginning to rain.
driving home i wondered
when you go to sleep do you dream of me?“
Remember when they were going to censor the internet?
Remember when people cared about Kony?
Remember when people did the cinnamon challenge?
Remember when everyone played Temple Run?
Remember the Alamo?
Remember the Titans?
remember who you are
literally the best post i have ever reblogged
